HD6321

The HD6321 is designed as peripheral interface adapter which provides the universal means of interfacing peripheral equipment to the HD6800 microprocessing unit (MPU). This device is capable of interfacing the MPU to peripherals through two 8-bit bidirectional peripheral data buses and four control lines. No external logic is required for interfacing to most peripheral devices.

It has mant features. The first one is two bidirectional 8-bit peripheral data bus for interface to peripheral devices. The second one is two programmable control, data direction registers. The third one is four individually controller interrupt input lines, two usable peripheral control outputs. The fourth one is handshake control logic for input and output peripheral operation. The fifth one is high impedance 3-state and direct transistor drive peripheral lines. The sixth one is two TTL drive capability on any A and B side buffers. And so on. That are the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be from -0.3V to +7.0V. The second one is about its input voltage which would be from -0.3V to +7.0V. The third one is about its operating temperature range which would be from -20°C to +75°C. The fourth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -55°C to +150°C.

And some recommended operating conditions about it. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be min 4.5V and typ 5.0V and max 5.5V. The second one is about its input low voltage which would be min 0V and max 0.8V. The third one is about its input high voltage which would be min 2.2V and max Vcc.
