ICL8048CCJE General Description
ICL8048CCJE belongs to the type of ICL8048. The following is about some information of ICL8048. The ICL8048 is a kind of monolithic logarithmic amplifier capable of handling six decades of current input, or three decades of voltage input. It is intended to provide 1V of output for each decade change of input and fully temperature compensated.
There are some features as follows. First is full scale accuracy which is 0.5%. The second is 0 to 70 temperature compensated operation. Then is about the scale factor (adjustable) which is 1 V/decade. Next is 120 dB dynamic current range. The fifth is 60 dB voltage current range. At last, it is a dual JFET input op amp.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The supply voltage is ±18 V. The IIN (Input Current) is 2 mA. The IREF (Reference Current) is 2 mA. The voltage between offset null and V+ is ±0.5 V. The output short circuit duration is indefinite. The maximum junction temperature (hermetic package or die) is 175. The maximum storage temperature range is from -65 to 150. The maximum lead temperature (soldering, 10 s) is 300. The typical JA (thermal resistance) is 75 /W and the maximum is 22/W for CERDIP package.
