Description

      The IRS2186/IRS21864 are high voltage, high speed power MOSFET and IGBT drivers with independent high and low side referenced output channels. Proprietary HVIC and latch immune CMOS technologies enable ruggedized monolithic construction. The logic input of IRS2186/IRS21864 is compatible with standard CMOS or LSTTL output, down to 3.3 V logic. The output drivers feature a high pulse current buffer stage designed for minimum driver cross-conduction. The floating channel can be used to drive an N-channel power MOSFET or IGBT in the high side configuration which operates up to 600 V.
       The IRS2186/IRS21864 has ten unique features which is as follows: The first one is floating channel designed for bootstrap operation. The second one is fully operational to +600 V. The third one is it is tolerant to negative transient voltage, dV/dt immune. The forth one is gate drive supply range from 10 V to 20 V. The fifth one is undervoltage lockout for both channels. The sixth one is 3.3 V and 5 V input logic compatible. The seventh one is matched propagation delay for both channels. The enighth one is logic and power ground +/- 5V offset. The ninth one is lower di/dt gate driver for better noise immunity. The tenth one is output source/sink current capability 4 A/4 A.
      Then,there are some absolute maximum ratings about IRS2186/IRS21864. High side floating absolute voltage (VB) is -0.3 V min and 620 V max. High side floating supply offset voltage(Vs) is VB-20 V min and VB+0.3 V max. High side floating output voltage (VHO) is Vs-0.3 V min and VB+0.3 V max. Low side and logic fixed supply voltage is -0.3 V and 20 V max. Low side output voltage(VLO) is -0.3 V min and Vcc+ 0.3 V max. Junction temperature (TJ) is 150 max. Storage temeprature(Ts) is -50 min and 150 max. Lead temeprature (soldering , 10 seconds) is 300 max.
      At last, there are some recommended operating conditions of IRS2186/IRS21864. High side floating supply absolute voltage is Vs+ 10 V min and Vs + 20 V max. High side floating output voltage is Vs min and VB max. Low side and logic fixed supply voltage is 1o V min and 20 V max. Logic ground(IRS21864 only) is -40 min and 125 max .
