KA7531

      The KA7531 is designed as a ballast control IC improving power-factor.It includes PFC control block so that the power-factor can be over 0.99% and the high voltage at lamp driving block can be maintained constantly.Besides, it prevents the inrush current of lamp discharge and the sputtering.
      It has six features.The first one is power factor correction.The second one is that it would have dimming control.The third one is that it would have 3 step soft start.The fourth one is ZVS driving.The fifth one is that it would have non lamp protection.The sixth one is it would have protection (OCP, OTP).
      Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its supply voltage which would be 17V.The second one is about its peak drive output current which would be 500mA.The third one is about its operating ambient temperature which would be from -25 to +100°C.The fourth one is about its storage temperature which would be from -65 to +150°C.
      Also there are some important electrical specifications have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its start threshold voltage which would be min 10V and typ 10.8V and max 11.6V.The second one is about its UVLO hysteresis which would be min 2.8V and typ 3.2V and max 3.6V.The third one is about its start-up supply current which would be min 0.6mA and max 1.4mA with condition of Vcc=9V.The fourth one is about its operating supply current which would be min 8mA and max 14mA with condition of Vcc=14V, no load.The fifth one is about ist reference voltage which would be min 5.0V and typ 5.1V and max 5.2V.The sixth one is about its load regulation which would be typ 5mV and max 20mV with condition of 0<Iref<5mA.The seventh one is about its preheating frequency which would be min 120KHz and max 160KHz with condition of Vcs=0V, Rt=33k, Ct=330pF.The eighth one is about its preheating time current which would be min 7uA and max 27uA with condition of Vcs=0V.And so on.For more information please contact us.
