LC7868E

The LC7868E is one member of the LC7868 family which is designed as the CMOS LSI that implements the singal processing and servo control required by compact disk players, laser disks, CD-V, CD-1 and related products. This device provides several types of signal processing to reduce the cost of CD player units, including demodulation of the optical pickup EFM signal, deinterleaving and error detection and corrention. It also processes a rich set of servo system commands sent from the control microprocessor.
