LT1033M

The LT1033M is designed as 3A negative adjustable regulator which will deliver up to 3A output current over an output voltage range of 1.2V to 32V. Linear technology has made significant improvements in these regulators compared to previous devices, such as better line and load regulation, and a maximum output voltage error of 1%.

It has four features. (1)Guaranteed 1% intial voltage tolerance. (2)Guaranteed 0.015%/V line regulation. (3)Guaranteed 0.02%/W thermal regulation. (4)100% burn-in in thermal limit. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its power dissipation would be internally limited. (2)Its input to output voltage differential would be 35V. (3)Its operating junction temperature would be from -55°C to 150°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (5)Its lead temperature (soldering 10 sec) would be 300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its reference voltage would be min -1.238V and typ -1.250V and max 1.262V. (2)Its load regulation would be typ 10mA and max 50mV. (3)Its line regulation would be typ 0.005%/V and max 0.015%/V. (4)Its ripple rejection would be min 56dB and typ 66dB at Cadj=0 and would be min 70dB and typ 80dB at Cadj=10uF. (5)Its thermal regulation would be typ 0.002%/W and would be max 0.02%/W. (6)Its adjust pin current would be typ 65uA and max 100uA. (7)Its adjust pin current change would be typ 0.2uA and max 2uA. (8)Its minimum load current would be typ 2.5mA and max 5.0mA. (9)Its temperature stability of output voltage would be typ 0.6% and max 1.5%. (10)Its long term stability would be typ 0.3% and max 1.0%. And so on. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
