LT1280AIN

The LT1280AIN is one member of the LT1280 family which is designed as the low power 5V RS232 dual driver/receiver with 0.1F capacitor that can be used in (1)portable computers; (2)battery-powered systems; (3)power supply generator; (4)terminals; (5)modems. Also this device is supplied in 18-pin DIP and SO packages for applications which require SHUTDOWN.

Features of the LT1280AIN are:(1)10mA max supply current; (2)ESD protection over ±10kV; (3)uses small capacitors: 0.1mF; (4)120kbaud operation for RL = 3k, CL = 2500pF; (5)250kbaud operation for RL = 3k, CL = 1000pF; (6)outputs withstand ±30V without damage; (7)CMOS comparable low power: 40mW; (8)operates from a single 5V supply; (9)rugged bipolar design; (10)outputs assume a high impedance state when off or powered down; (11)meets all RS232 specifications; (12)available with or without shutdown; (13)absolutely no latch-up; (14)available in SO package.
