The M35049-XXXFP is a character pattern display control IC can isplay on the TV display. It can display 2 pages (24 characters 5 2 lines per 1 page) at the same time. M35049-XXXFP uses a silicon gate CMOS rocess and it housed in a 20-pin shrink SOP package.

For M35049-001FP that is a standard ROM version of M35049- XXFP respectively, the character pattern is also mentioned.
