M52045FP

The M52045FP is designed as a semiconductor integrated circuit for video signal processing that has been developed for PAL system liquid crystal (LCD) color TV. This IC has a built-in luminance signal processing circuit and color signal processing circuit, which employed to convert a composite video signal to an RGB signal.

It has eight features. (1)Low voltage and low power dissipation design. (2)Built-in Y/C separation circuit and external chroma trap switchable (fc is nearly equal to 1.5MHz). (3)Built-in sync separation circuit. (4)Provided with Y-signal blanking function by HD pulse. (5)RGB signal output. (6)Tint, contrast, picture quality and color control linearly adjustable. (7)24-pin, shrink pitch, flat package empolyed. (8)Same package as in NTSC system video chroma IC M52042FP, pins perfectly compatible. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 4.5V. (2)Its power dissipation would be 680mw. (3)Its operating temperature range would be from -10°C to 70°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -45°C to 120°C. (5)Its thermal derating would be 5.4mW/°C. (6)Its electrostatic capacity would be +/-200V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its circuit current would be typ 17mA and max 21mA. (2)Its SYNC tip voltage would be min 2.2V and typ 2.3V and max 2.4V. (3)Its SYNC output amplitude would be min 2.7V and typ 3.1V and max 3.4V. (4)Its SYNC output pulse width would be min 3.7V and typ 4.7V and max 5.7V. (5)Its SYNC output pulse delay would be min 3.7V and typ 4.7V and max 6.0V. (6)Its YLPF frequency characteristics would be min 1.45MHz and typ 1.55MHz. And so on.
