The MAX3071EESA is designed as one kind of +3.3V, ±15kV ESD-protected, fail-safe, hot swap RS-485/RS-422 transceiver that can be used in (1)lighting systems; (2)industrial control; (3)telecom; (4)security systems; (5)instrumentation. This device features independently programmable receiver and transmitter output phase through separate pins, and the slew rate of it is selectable between 250 kbps, 500 kbps, and 16 Mbps by driving a selector pin with a single three-state driver.
