The MAX407 is designed as one kind of single, dual and quad low-voltage, micropower, precision op amps designed for battery-operated systems. This device features a supply current of less than 1.2A per amplifier that is relatively constant over the entire supply range, which represents a 15 to 20 times improvement over industry-standard micropower op amps. A unique output stage enables these op amps to operate at ultra-low supply current while maintaining linearity under loaded conditions. So this device can be used in battery-powered systems, medical instruments, electrometer amplifiers, intrinsically safe systems and photodiode pre-amps, pH meters.
Features of the MAX407 are:(1)1.2A max quiescent current per amplifier;(2)+2.5V to +10V single-supply range;(3)500V max offset voltage;(4)<0.1 pA typical input bias current;(5)output swings rail-to-rail;(6)input voltage range includes negative rail.
