The MAX618EEE is designed as one kind of 28V, PWM, step-up DC-DC converter that can be used in (1)automotive-powered DC-DC converters; (2)industrial +24V and +28V systems; (3)LCD displays; (4)palmtop computers applications. And this device is available in a thermally enhanced 16-pin QSOP package that is the same size as an industrystandard 8-pin SO but dissipates up to 1W.
