MC14046BCP

The MC14046BCP is one member of the MC14046 family which is designed as the phase locked loop that contains two phase comparators, a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), source follower, and zener diode. This device can be used in (1)FM and FSK modulation; (2)demodulation; (3)frequency synthesis and multiplication; (4)frequency discrimination; (5)tone decoding; (6)data synchronization and conditioning; (7)voltagetofrequency conversion and motor speed control.

Features of the MC14046BCP are:(1)buffered outputs compatible with MHTL and low - power TTL; (2)diode protection on all inputs; (3)supply voltage range = 3.0 to 18 V; (4)pin for pin replacement for CD4046B; (5)phase comparator 1 is an exclusive or gate and is duty cycle limited; (6)phase comparator 2 switches on rising edges and is not duty cycle limited.
