The MC145421P is one member of the MC145422 family which designed as one kind of high-speed data transceivers that provide 160 kbps fullduplex data communication over 26 AWG and larger twistedpair cable up to two kilometers in distance.MC145421P can be used in remote data acquisition and control systems, digital subscriber voice/data telephone systems.And it utilizes a 512 kbaud MDPSK burst modulation technique to supply the 160 kbps full-duplex data transfer rates.The 160 kbps rate is provided through four channels.

Features of the MC145421P:(1)employs CMOS technology in order to take advantage of its proven capability for complex analog and digital LSI functions ;(2)provides synchronous full-duplex 160 kbps voice and data communication in a 2B+2D format for ISDN compatibility;(3)provides the CCITT basic access data transfer rate (2B+D) for ISDNs on a single twisted pair up to 1 km;(4)compatible with existing and evolving telephone switch architectures and call signaling schemes;(5)protocol independent;(6)single +5 V power supply;(7)MC145421EVK is available.
