MC145442

The MC145442 is a kind of silicon-gate CMOS single-chip low-speed modem. It includes a complete frequency shift keying (FSK) modulator, demodulator, and filter. Besides, the device includes a carrier detect circuit for the demodulator section and a duplexer circuit for direct operation on a telephone line through a simple transformer.

There are some features as follows: (1)compatible with CCITT V.21; (2)low-band and high-band band-phase filters on-chip; (3)simplex, half-duplex, and full-duplex operation; (4)originate and answer mode; (5)analog loopback configuration for self test; (6)hybrid network function on-chip; (7)carrier detect circuit on-chip; (8)adjustable transmit level and CD delay timing; (9)on-chip crystal oscillator; (10)single +5 V power supply operation; (11)internal mid-supply generator; (12)power down mode; (13)pin compatible with MM74HC943; (14)capable of driving -9 dBm into a 600 load.
