The MM54HCT148 is designed as one kind of 8-3 line priority encoder that utilizes advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology. This device has the high noise immunity and low power consumption typical of CMOS circuits, as well as the speeds and output drive similar to LS-TTL. This priority encoder accepts 8 input request lines 0-7 and outputs 3 lines A0-A2. MM54HCT148 ensures that only the highest order data line is encoded.
The MM54HCT148 has only two points of features:(1)typical propagation delays: 13 ns;(2)wide supply voltage range: 2 V to 6 V. The absolute maximum ratings of the MM54HCT148 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage: -0.5 V to +7.0 V;(2)DC input voltage: -1.5 V to Vcc+1.5 V;(3)DC output voltage: -0.5 V to Vcc+0.5 V;(4)clamp diode current: +/- 20 mA;(5)DC output current, per pin: +/- 35 mA;(6)DC Vcc or GND current, per pin: +/- 70 mA;(7)storage temperature range: -65 to +150 ;(8)lead temperature (soldering, 10 sec.): 260 .
