NE556D

The NE556D  Dual Monolithic timing circuits is highly stable controllers capable of producing accurate time delays or oscillation. The 556 and 556-1 are a dual 555. Timing is provided by an external resistor and capacitor for each timing function.  The two timers operate independently of each other, sharing only VCC and ground. The circuits may be triggered and reset on falling waveforms. The output structures may sink or source 200mA.

Features of the NE556D are:(1)Turn-off time less than 2s (556-1); (2)Maximum operating frequency >500kHz (556-1); (3)Timing from microseconds to hours; (4)Replaces two 555 timers; (5)Operates in both astable and monostable modes; (6)High output current; (7)Adjustable duty cycle; (8)TTL compatible; (9)Temperature stability of 0.005%/°C; (10)SE556-1 compliant to MIL-STD or JAN.

The absolute maximum ratings of the NE556D can be summarized as:(1)VCC Supply voltage:16V; (2)PD Maximum allowable power dissipation:800 mW; (3)TA Operating temperature range:0 to +70 °C; (4)TSTG Storage temperature range: -65 to +150 °C; (5)TSOLD Lead soldering temperature (10sec max) :+300 °C.
