OPL4-ML

OPL4-ML is a wave table synthesizer LSI that integrates OPL3, general MIDI processor and wave table ROM into one chip, and complies with GM system level 1.It makes a low cost system with high quality tone when it is used in the multimedia personal computers and sound boards.The lSI is able to operate normally at power voltage of 3.3 V.

Features of the OPL4-ML are:(1)complies with GM system level 1; (2)MIDI signal can be transmitted either through serial input or paralle input; (3)contains an interface that is compatible with OPL3; (4)wabe table synthesis is able to generate up to 24 voices simultaneously; (5)contains 8-Mbit wave table ROM; (6)all registerare readable; (7)master clock freqeuncy is 33.8688 MHz; (8)silicon gate CMOS process.

The absolute maximum ratings of the OPL4-ML can be summarized as:(1): power supply voltage(VDD) is -3.0 V to 7.0 V; (2): input voltage(Vin) is -0.3 V to VDD+0.5 V; (3): operating temperature(Topr) is 0 to 70; (4): storage temperature(Tstg) is -50 to 125.
