P5205TR

The P5205TR is designed as one member of the P520X family which conprises a range of transformers, designed for conexant smart DAA chipsets. They are intended, as part of the digital isolation barrier. The P5205TR family provides supplementary insulation for a primary circuit at a working voltage of 250Vrms and is compliant with IEC 60950, and UL 60950. The family members are UL recognized components and are supported by an IEC CB certificate. The P5205TR family is compliant with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, and suitable for lead-free and conventional placement and reflow. Its safety would be manufactured from materials conforming to
flammability requirements of UL94V-0. Construction complies with IEC 60950-1, EN 60950-1 and UL 60950-1, supplementary insulation for a primary circuit, 250Vrms maximum working voltage.

P5205TR has six features. (1)Surface mount. (2)Lead-free (Pb-free). (3)RoHS compliant. (4)2.5mm height. (5)IEC 60950 and UL 60950 certified. (6)UL recognized component. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of P5205TR have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 1s would be 2.0kVrms, 2.8kVDC. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to +100°C. (3)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C. (4)Its soldering temperature profile peak would be 260°C 10s. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of P5205TR are concluded as follow. (1)Its shunt inductance Lp would be min 30uH. (2)Its leakage inductance max would be max 200nH. (3)Its interwinding capacitance would be typ 3pF. (4)Its DC resistance 1-2 max would be 0.225ohms. (5)Its dielectric rating would be min 2000Vrns. (6)Its turns ratio N would be 1.0. And so on.
