PC87591-VPCN01

The PC87591-VPCN01 is designed as LPC mobile embedded controllers. It is highly integrated, embedded controllers with an embedded-RISC core and integrated advanced functions. These devices are targeted for a wide range of portable applications that use the Low Pin Count (LPC) interface.

It has nine outstanding features. (1) Host interface, based on Intel's LPC interface specification revision 1.0, september 29th, 1997. (2) PC01 rev 1.0, and ACPI 2.0 compliant. (3) 16-bit RISC core, with 2Mbyte address space, and running at up to 20MHz. (4) Software and hardware controlled clock throttling. (5) Shared BIOS flash memory (internal and/or external). (6) Y2K-compliant RTC. (7) 84/117 GPIO ports (for 128-pin/176-pin packages) with a variety of wake-up events. (8) Extremely low current consumption in Idle mode. (9) JTAG-based debugger interface. Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its host domain supply voltage would be min -0.5V and max +4.2V. (2) Its core domain supply voltage would be min -0.5V and max +4.2V. (3) Its analog supply voltage would be min -0.5V and max +4.2V. (4) Its battery backup supply voltage would be min -0.5V and max +4.2V. (5) Its input voltage would be min -0.5V and max 5.5V for all other buffer types and would be min -0.5V and max Vsup2 + 0.5V for buffer types. (6) Its output voltage would be min -0.5V and max 5.5V for all other buffer types and would be min -0.5V and max Vsup3 + 0.5V for buffers types. (7) Its storage temperature range would be min -65°C and max +165°C. (8) Its power dissipation would be max 1W. (9) Its lead temperature soldering 10s would be ax +260°C. (10) Its ESD tolerance would be min 2000V.

Also some device capacitance about it. (1) Its input pin capacitance would be typ 5pF and max 7pF. (2) Its clock input capacitance would be min 5pF and typ 8pF and max 12pF. (3) Its I/O pin capacitance would be typ 10pF and max 12pF. (4) Its output pin capacitance would be typ 6pF and max 8pF. And so on.
