PCF8574ADWR

The PCF8574ADWR is designed as one kind of 8-bit input/output (I/O) expander that can provides general-purpose remote I/O expansion for most microcon-troller families. Also this device provides an open-drain output (INT) that can be connected to the interrupt input of a microcontroller and the communication with this device is initiated by a master sending a start condition, a high-to-low transition on the SDA I/O while the SCL input is high.

Features of the PCF8574ADWR are:(1)low standby-current consumption of 10A maximum;(2)open-drain interrupt output;(3)compatible with most microco-ntrollers;(4)latched outputs with high-current drive capability for directly driving LEDs;(5)latch-up performance exceeds 100 mA per JESD 78, class II.
