PLS105-40

The PLS105 is a field-programmable repalcement for sequential logic. The device functions as a mealy state machine with a registered output. The PLS105 utilizes sum-of-product equations. Both arrays are user-programmable to implement transition terms causing changes in the internal state register or output register. The PLS105-40 device is fabricated in advanced micro devices'advanced oxide-isolated bipolar process. PLS105 is fully supported bu industry-standard CAD tools, including the PALASM design software package. Device programming is accomplished by using standard PLD programmers.

PLS105 has many distinctive characteristics. The first one is field-programmable replacement for sequential control logic. The second one is advanced mealy state machine/sequencer architecture. The third one is programmable AND/programmable OR array for flexibility. The forth one is full drive:24 mAIol,three-state outputs. The fifth one is user-programmable pin for asychronous flip-flop preet/output enable. The sixth one is automatic "hold" state via S-R flip-flops. The seventh one is security bit hides proprietary desings from competitors. The eighth one is it is supplorted by PALASM software and stadnard PLD programmers, etc.

There are also some absolute maximum ratings about PLS105.Storage temperature is -65 to +150 . Ambient temperature with power applied is -55  to +125 . Supply voltage with respect to ground is -0.5 V to +7.0 V. DC input voltage is -0.5 V to +7.0 V. DC output or I/O pin voltage is -0.5 V to Vcc max . DC input current is -30mA to +5 mA. Otherwise, there are some operating ratings. Commercial devices: Ambient temperature operating in free air is 0  to +75 . Supply voltage with respect to ground is +4.75 V to +5.25 V.
