PLS103

The PLS103 is a bipolar, fuse programmable Gate Array. The device consists of nine AND/NAND gates which share 16 common inputs. The type of gates is selected by programming the output as active-high(H) or active-low(L).Each of the 16 inputs I0-I15 can be programmed to provide the true(H), complement(L),or do not care(-)state to each of the nine AND/NAND gates. OR/NOR logic functions can also be inplemented by complementing the inputs and outputs via on-chip inverting buffers. The PLS103 is field programmable, which means that custom patterns are immediately available.The PLS103 includes chip-enable control for output  strobing and inhibit. It features 3-state outputs for ease of expansion of input variables and applications in bus-organized systems.

PLS103 has many unique features: The first one is 16 input functions. The second one is 9 output functions. The third one is chip enable input. The forth one is I/O propagation delay which is 35 ns max. The fifth one is output disable function which is Hi-Z. The sixth one is fully TTLcompatible. Besides, there are also some applications. The first one is random logic. The second one is address decoders. The third one is code detectors. The forth one is peripheral selectors. The fifth one is fault monitors. The sixth one is machine state decoders.

There are also some absolute maximum ratings about PLS103.SUpply voltage(Vcc) is +7 Vdc.Input voltage(Vi) is +5.5 Vdc. Output voltage(Vo) is +5.5 Vdc. Input current(Iin) is ±30 mA. Output current(Iout) is +100 mA. Operating temperature range is 0 to 75. Storage temperature range is -65 to +150. Maximum junction is 150. Maximum ambient is 75. Allowable thermal rise ambient to junction is 75.
