PST518A

The PST518A is monolithic IC for system resetting. The function of it is accurately resetting the system after detecting voltage at the time of switching power on and instantaneous power off in various CPU system and other logic systems.

Applications of the PST518A are:(1)as the control circuit for memory with battery backup;(2)as measure against erroneous operations at power ON-OFF;(3)as measure against system runaway by instantaneous power interrupt or the like;(4)for generation common resetting for some system with plural number of equipment connected to it.

Features of the PST518A are:(1)threshold voltage of IC operation is low:0.8V(typ.),resetting output can be guaranteed down to low voltages;(2)output sinking current is large:300mA(max.);(3)two detecting voltage are available:4.2V±0.2V;(4)one-output tepe is available;(5)taping type PST518A is also available.

The absolute maximum ratings of the PST518A can be summarized as:(1)operating temperature:-20 to +75;(2)storage temperature:-30 to +125;(3)power dissipation:200mW;(4)supply voltage:-0.3V to +7.0V;(5)output current:300mA.
