General Description
PT9798 General Description
The PT9798 is SSB power transistor. It is designed primarily for wideband, large signal output and driver amplifier stages in the 2 to 30MHz frequency range.
Features of the PT9798 are:(1)designed for class A,AB, or C power amplifiers;(2)specified 50V,28MHz characteristics:output power-75W,power gain-15dB(min.);(3)100% tested for load mismatch at all phase angles with :1VSWR(4)gold metallization for improved reliability;(5)diffused ballast resistors.
The absolute maximum ratings of the PT9798 can be summarized as:(1)collector-emitter voltage:55V;(2)collector-base voltage:110V;(3)emitter-base voltage:4V;(4)collector current-continuous:15A;(5)total device dissipation @Tc=25 :150W;(6)total device dissipation derate above 25:1W/;(7)operating junction temperature:200;(8)storage temperature range:-65 to +150.
