      The QT100 is designed as charge-transfer QTouch IC and its is a self-contained digital IC capable of detecting near-proximity or touch. It will project a touch or proximity field through any dielectric like glass, plastic, stone, ceramic, and even most kinds of wood. It can also turn small metal-bearing objects into intrinsic sensors, making QT100 responsive to proximity or touch. This capability, coupled with its ability to self-calibrate, can lead to entirely new product concepts.
      Some absolute maximum specifications of QT100 have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its operating temperature which would be from -40 to +85°C.The second one is about its storage temperature which would be from -55 to +125°C.The third one is about its Vdd which would be from -0.5 to +5.25V.The fourth one is about its max continuous pin current, any control or drive pin which would be ±20mA.The fifth one is about its short circuit duration to ground or Vdd, any pin which would be infinite.The sixth one is about its voltage forced onto any pin which would be from -0.6V to (Vdd + 0.6) Volts.For the recommended operating conditions the first one is about its Vdd which would be from +2.0 to +5.0V.The second one is about its short-term supply ripple+noise which would be ±5mV/s.The third one is about its long-term supply stability which would be ±100mV.The fourth one is about its Cs range which would be from 2 to 50nF.The last one is about its  Cx range which would be from 5 to 20pF.And so on.
