R8069

The R8069 is designed as line interface unit (LIU) which is a single chip CMOS device that interfaces the rockwell R8070 T1/CEPT PCM transceiver or RT9170 intelligent T1 controller to the physical T-1/CEPT PCM30 transmission medium.

It has many features. The first one is compatible with T-1 DSX-1 and PCM30 standards. The second one is selectable T-1 and PCM30 clock rates. The third one is directly compatible with rockwell R8070 T-1/CEPT PCM transceiver, RT9170 intelligent T1 controller, and R8071 ISDN/DMI link layer controller devices. The fourth one is meets AT&T technical advisory No. 34 for T-1 and CCITT recommendation G.703 for PAM30. The fifth one is phase locked loop for timing applications. The sixth one is provides line equalization for up to 660 feet of 100 22-gauge plastic insulated (ABAM) cable for T-1. The seventh one is intrinsic jitter less than 0.05UI. The eighth one is jitter attenuation roll off starts at 2Hz. The ninth one is 44-bit receiver (RX) elastic store for input jitter and wander accommodation. The tenth one is provision to bypass RX elastic store. And so on. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be from +-0.3V to 7.0V. The second one is about its input voltage which would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. The third one is about its operating temperature range which would be from 0°C to +70°C. The fourth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -55°C to +150°C. That are all the main ratings. It should be noted that stresses above those listed may cause permanent damage to the device.
