R8069B

The R8069B is designed as line interface unit which is a single chip CMOS device that interfaces the rockwell R8070 T1/CEPT PCM transceivr or RT9170 intelligent T1 controller to the physical T-1/CEPT PCM30 transmission medium.

It has many features. The first one is compatible with T-1 (1.544Mbit/s) DSX-1 and PCM30 (2.048 Mbit/s) standards. The second one is selectable T-1 and PCM30 clock rates. The third one is directly compatible with rockwell R8070 T-1/CEPT PCM transceivr, RT9170 intelligent T1 controller, and R8071 ISDN/DMI link layer controller devices. The fourth one is meets jitter requirements specified in AT&T publication 62411 for T-1 and CCITT recommendation G823 for PCM30. The fifth one is phase locked loop for loop timing applications. The sixth one is incorporates a frequency discriminator in PLL circuitry to enhance frequency training and locking. The seventh one is provides line equalization for up to 660 feet of 100 22-gauge plastic insulated (ABAM) cable for T-1. The eighth one is intrinsic jitter less than 0.05 UI. The ninth one is jitter attenuation roil off starts at 2Hz. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be from -3.0 to +7.0V. The second one is about its input voltage which would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. The third one is about its operating temperature range which would be from 0°C to +70°C. The fourth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -55°C to +150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed may cause permanent damage to the device.
