The RA0512J is designed as a full frame CCD sensor for specifically for use in astronomy, spectroscopy and related scientific imaging applications. Its combination of very low noise and low dark current make it ideal for low light level, high dynamic range and high resolution applications.
RA0512J has seven features. (1)262,144 picture elements (pixels) in a 512x512 configuration. (2)27um square pixels. (3)3-phase buried channel process. (4)On-chip output amplifier for low noise and high speed readout. (5)High dynamic range: over 98dB at -110°C (183K). (6)Serial-parallel-serial configuration for selectable bidirectional readout. (7)Usable spectral response from 450nm to 1050nm. Those are all the main features.
Some RA0512J absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its storage temperature range would be from -150°C to 50°C. (2)Its pin 1,3,7,8,9,17,18,19,20,21,23,27,28,29,37,38,39,40 would be max 20V swing. (3)Its all other pins would be from 0V to 25V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
