The RF2460 is a receiver front-end designed for thereceive section of PCS CDMA and W-CDMA applications. It is designed to amplify and downconvert RF signalswhile providing 29dB of stepped gain control rangeand features digital control of LNA gain, mixer gain, andpower down mode. A further feature of the chip is adjustableIIP3 of the LNA and mixer using an off-chip currentsetting resistor. Noise Figure, IP3, and other specs aredesigned to be compatible with the IS-98B for CDMAPCS communications. The IC is manufactured on aSiGeHBT process and packaged in a 20-pin leadless hip carrier with an exposed die flag.
