The SAA1280 offers a very economic solution for the control,station selection by voltage synthesis tuning, band selection and station display in CTV sets with average degree of operation comfot.The MDA2062 non-volatile memory is provided as storage for tuning information on 16 stations and for four analog settings.

Features of the SAA1280 are:(1)all controls actuated by 28 pushbottons; (2)three bandswitch outputs, plus VCR switch output; (3)four analog outputs; (4)four-way multi-standard switch; (5)1 1/2 digit station display; (6)muting during change of station or band; (7)four tuning speeds; (8)simple external circuitry; (9)tuning voltage generation with rate multiplier.
