The VErtical Reconstruction IC (VERIC) for PALplus (VERIC)SAA4997H is especially designed for use in conjunction with the Motion Adaptive Colour Plus And Control IC (MACPACIC) to decode the transmitted PALplus video signal in PALplus colour TV receivers. SAA4997H provides the full vertical resolution of a PALplus picture from the letter box part and the decoded helper information.
