SBR8060

The SBR8060 is designed as one kind of 80 amp schottky rectifiers with working peak reverse voltage of 60V and repetitive peak reverse voltage of 60V.

SBR8060 has six features. (1)Schottky barrier rectifier. (2)Guard ring protection. (3)Vrrm is 160V. (4)Reverse energy tested. (5)175°C junction temperature. (6)80 amperes. Those are all the main features.

Some electrical characteristics of SBR8060 per leg have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its average forward current would be 80A with conditions of Tc=131°C, square wave and RJC=0.8°C/W. (2)Its maximum surge current would be 1200A with conditions of 8.3ms, half sine wave and at Tj=175°C. (3)Its max repetitive peak reverse current would be 2A with conditions of f=1KHz and temperature of 25°C and 1us square wave. (4)Its max peak forward voltage would be 0.77V with test conditions of Ifm=80A and Tj=25°C. (5)Its max peak reverse current would be 30mA with test conditions of Vrrm, Tj=125°C and would be 2mA with test conditions of Vrrm, Tj=25°C. (6)Its typical junction capacitance per leg would be 2000pF with test conditions of Vr=5.0V and Tj=25°C and f=1MHz. It should be noted that about the max peak forward voltage the pulse test is pulse width 300usec, duty cycle 2%.

Also some thermal and mechanical characteristics of SBR8060 are concluded as follow. (1)Its operating junction temperature range would be from -55°C to 175°C. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 175°C. (3)Its maximum thermal resistance standard would be 0.8°C/W junction to case. (4)Its typical thermal resistance greased would be 0.5°C/W case to sink. (5)Its weight would be 0.54 ounces (15.3 grams) typical. (6)Its mounting torque would be 25 to 30 inch pounds. And so on.
