The SC1175 is designed as a versatile 2 phase, synchronous, voltage mode PWM controller that may be used in two distinct ways. First, it is ideal for applications where point of use output power exceeds any single input power budget. Alternatively, it can be used as a dual switcher. It features a temperature compensated voltage reference, over current protection with 50% fold-back and internal level-shifted, high side drive circuitry.
SC1175 has nine features. (1)300KHz fixed frequency operation. (2)Soft start and enable function. (3)Power good output provided. (4)Over current protection with 50% fold-back. (5)Phase-shifted switchers minimize ripple. (6)High efficiency operation >90%. (7)Programmable output as low as 1.25V. (8)Industrial temperature range. (9)SOIC 20 pin package. Some absolute maximum ratings of SC1175 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its Vcc to GND would be from -0.3V to 15V. (2)Its PGND to GND would be +/-1V. (3)Its BST to GND would be from -0.3V to 26V. (4)Its thermal resistance junction to case would be 30°C/W. (5)Its thermal resistance junction to ambient would be 90°C/W. (6)Its operating ambient temperature range would be from 0°C to 85°C. (7)Its operating junction temperature range would be from 0°C to 125°C. (8)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (9)Its lead temperature soldering 10 seconds would be 300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
