Description

The SDT470 consists of a LED optically coupled to a phototransistor in an ultr-miniature 4 pin SSOP package. Optical coupling between the input LED and output phototransistor allows for high isolation levels while maintaining low-level DC signal control capability. The SDT470 provides an optically isolated method of controlling many interface applications such as telecommunications, industrial control and instrumentation circuitry of the SDT470 where saving board space is critical.
