The SG3635R is designed as a monolithic integrated circuit designed to interface low-level logic signals with high-current, inductive, or capacitive loads. This device is particularly adept at high-speed pulse width modulation for motor drives or Class D audio amplifiers, and when used in pairs, they can provide full bridge drive for bi-directional control.

SG3635R has six features. (1)Source or sink 5A peak. (2)Half-bridge with internal diodes. (3)TTL input compatibility. (4)Either dual- or tri-state output. (5)Direct PWM motor drive from microprocessor. (6)Built-in thermal protection. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of SG3635R have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 40V. (2)Its input voltage enable and pulse would be 7V. (3)Its source/sink output current would be 3A for continuous and 5A for peak. (4)Its operating junction temperature would be 150°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (6)Its lead temperature soldering 10 seconds would be 300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to SG3635R.
