TX-RX iPAC FEM Dual-Band GSM/GPRS GSM900, DCS1800

SKY77518 is a transmit and receive FEM with iPAC? for dual-band cellular handsets comprising GSM900 and DCS1900 operation and supports Class 12 GPRS multi-slot operation. The module SKY77518 consists of two HBT PA blocks-for GSM900 and DCS1900 bands-fabricated onto a single Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) die, 50-ohm impedance-matched inputs and outputs, TX harmonics filtering, high linearity and low insertion loss PHEMT RF switches, diplexer and a PAC block with internal current-sense resistor. A custom BiCMOS IC provides internal PAC. The GaAs die, PHEMT die, Si die and passive components SKY77518 are mounted on a multi-layer laminate substrate encapsulated with plastic overmold.
