Description

Filtronic Suspended Substrate Stripline low-pass filters SL070 for optical communication systems have been designed with a Bessel phase performance and are suitable for use in TX/RX systems for pulse shaping and noise reduction and in BER test sets. A proprietary, passive, input matching circuit SL070 ensures that the no energy is reflected in the stopband.

The SL070 is a five pole design, optimised for OC192/STM-64 systems. Other designs for OC48 and OC768 are available on request.
