General Description
SN54LS673 General Description
The SN54LS673 is a type of 16-bit shift register in a single 24-pin package. A three-state input/output port to the shift register accepts serial entry and/or reading of data. The storage register is combined in a parallel data loop wi th the shift register and may be asynchronously cleared by taking the store-clear input low.
Features of SN54LS673 are:(1)16-bit serial-in, serial-out shift register with 16 bit parallel-out storage register; (2)performs serial-to-parallel conversion.
The absolute maximum ratings and electrical characteristics of the SN54LS673 can be summarized as: (1)supply volt age: 7V; (2)input voltage: 5.5V;(3)operating free air temperature range:-55 to 125;(4)storage temperature ran g:-65 to 150; (5)off-state output voltage: 5.5V. Electrical characteristics: (1)high-level input voltage: 2V min; (2)low-level input voltage: 0.7V max; (3)input clamp voltage(VCC=min, I1=-18mA): -1.5V max; (4)high level input curre nt(VCC=max, V1=2.7V): 40uA max; (5)low level input current(VCC=max, V1=0.4V):-0.4mA max; (6)short-circuit out put current(VCC=max):-30mA min and-130mA max; (7)supply current(VCC=max, all outputs open): 50mA typ and 80mA max; etc.
