Description

The SN74LS640N is designed as octal bus transceiver for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses. Control function implementation minimizes external timing requirements. These circuits allow data transmission from the A bus to B or from the B bus to A bus depending upon the logic level of the direction control (DIR) input. Enable input (G) can disable the device so that the buses are effectively isolated.

(2)Its operating ambient temperature range would be min 0°C and typ 25°C and max 70°C. (3)Its output current high level would be max -3.0mA. (4)Its output current low level would be max 24mA.
