DescriptionThe SN74LS688N is one kind of 8-bit,16 pin DIP magnitude comparators which designed to perform comparisons between two eight-bit binary or BCD words.It has a 20 kW pullup resistor on the Q inputs for analog or switch data.
The DC characteristics over operating temperature range of the SN74LS688N can be summarized as:(1)input high voltage:2.0 V;(2)input low voltage:0.8 V;(3)input clamp diode voltage:-0.65 V;(4)output high voltage:3.5 V;(5)output low voltage:0.25V(Iol=12 mA) or 0.35V(Iol=24 mA);(6)input high current:20 uA(Vcc=max, Vin=2.7 V);(7)short circuit current:-30 to -130 mA;(8)power supply current:65 mA.Note:not more than one output should be shorted at a time,nor for more than 1 second.
