SP526CF

The SP526CF is designed as a monolithic device that supports three physical layer serial interface standards. It is fabricated using a low power BiCMOS process technology, and incorporates four drivers and four receivers can be configured via software for the selected interface modes at any time.

It has seven features. (1)Low-cost programmable serial transceiver. (2)Four drivers and four receivers. (3)Driver and receiver tri-state control. (4)Software selectable protocol selection. (4)Interface modes: RS-232 (V.28); RS-422 (V.11, X.21); EIA-530 or RS-449 (V.10, V.11). (5)Designed to meet all NET1/2 compliancy requirements. (6)High ESD tolerance. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be +7V. (2)Its input voltage logic and drivers would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.5V. (3)Its input voltage receivers would be +/-15.5V. (4)Its output voltage logic and receivers would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.5V. (5)Its output voltages drivers would be +/-15V. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (7)Its power dissipation (derate 14.3mW/°C above 70°C) would be 1144mW. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its input voltage low would be max 0.8V. (2)Its input voltage high would be min 2.0V. (3)Its output voltage low would be max 0.4V. (4)Its output voltage high would be min 2.4V. (5)Its open circuit voltage would be max +/-15V. (6)Its loaded voltage min +/-5.0V and max +/-15V. (7)Its power-off impedance would be min 300ohms. (8)Its transition time would be max 1.5us. (9)Its instantaneous slew rate would be max 30V/us. (10)Its high threshold would be typ 1.7V and max 3.0V.
