The SP8908(MP) is one of a range of very high speed low power prescalers for professional applications. The dividing elements are static D type flip flops and therefore allow operation down to DC if the drive signal is a pulse waveform with fast risetime. The output stage has a differential current output and provides a direct drive into a 50 ohm load.

The SP8908(MP) has some absolute maximum ratings.When parameter is supply voltage,Vcc,the rating is 6.5V.When parameter is storage temperature range,the rating is -65 to +150.When parameter is Max. junction temperature,the rating is +150.When parameter is prescaler input voltage,the rating is 2.5V p-p.When parameter is operating temperature,the rating is KG240 to 185 TCASE.
