Description

The SPB-9740G series is high performance module for OC-48 / STM-16 and Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE singlefiber communications by using 1550 nm transmitter and 1310 nm receiver. SPB-9740G is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. The transmitter section uses amultiple quantum well 1550 nm DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section is designed to receive 1310 nm signal. The receiver section uses an integrated 1310 nm detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
