SQ-40-T-10B

The SQ-40-T-10B is designed as air ultrasonic ceramic transducers which is constructed in a manner which incorporates the fundamental structure of a piezoelectric ceramic element of the monomorph type with a conical metal resonator. This special combination provides high sensitivity (over 65dB/V/uBar), wider bandwidth, excellent temperature and humidity durability, stable electrical and mechanical characteristics, and small size.

It has eight applications. The first one is remote control devices. The next one is liquid & bulk sensors. The next one is proximity sensors. The next one is level controls. The next one is intrusion alarms. The next one is motion detectors. The next one is it could be used in auto doors. The next one is counting devices. That are all the main applications.

Some important specifications have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its transmitting sensitivity which would be 110dB. The next one is about its resonant frequency trans. which would be 40 ± 1.0kHz. The next one is about its directional angle which would be approx 60°. The next one is about its max input volts which would be 10Vrms. The next one is about its impedence which would be approx 700. The next one is about its capacitance which would be 2000 +/- 20 pF. The next one is about its pulse rise time which would be 0.7ms. The next one is about its max input volts for pulse operation which would be not recommended for pulse operation. The next one is about its temperature range which would be from -20°C to +60°C. The next one is about its trans selectivity which would be 20Qsv min.

Something should be noted that characteristics vary depending on input impedance. Transmitter and receiver should be treated as separate considerations.
