STK4044II

The STK4044II is designed as AF power amplifier (split power supply) with 100W min and THD=0.4%.

STK4044II has five features. (1) Compact package for thin type audio sets. (2) Member of pin compatible series with outputs of 20 to 200W. (3) Its easy heatsink design to disperse heat generated in thin type stereo sets. (4) Constant current circuit to reduce supply switch-on and switch-off shock noise. (5) Its external supply switch-on and switch-off shock noise muting, load short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown and other circuits can be tailored-designed. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of STK4044II have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its maximum supply voltage would be +/-73V. (2) Its thermal resistance would be 1.1°C/W. (3) Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (4) Its operating substrate temperature would be 125°C. (5) Its storage temperature range would be from -30°C to +125°C. (6) Its available time for load short circuit would be 1s. (7) Its load resistance would be 8. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some operating characteristics of STK4044II at Ta=25°C, Vcc=+/-51V, RL=8, VG=40dB, Rg=600 unless otherwise specified have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its quiescent current would be min 15mA and max 120mA. (2) Its output power would be min 100W. (3) Its total harmonic distortion would be max 0.3%. (4) Its frequency response would be typ from 20Hz to 50KHz. (5) Its input impedance would be typ 55k. (6) Its output noise voltage would be max 1.2mVrms. (7) Its netural voltage would be min -70mV and typ 0mV and max +70mV. That are all the main characteristics. And so on.
