The STK4044XI is designed as AF power amplifier (split power supply) with 100W min and THD=0.008%.
STK4044XI has five features. (1) Compact packaging supports slimmer set designs. (2) Series designed from 50 up to 150W and pin compatibility. (3) Simpler heat sink design facilitates thermal design of slim stereo sets. (4) Current mirror circuit, cascade circuit and pure-complimentary circuit application reduce distortion to 0.008%. (5) Supports addition of electronic circuits for thermal shutdown and load-short protection circuit as well as pop noise muting which occurs when the power supply switch is turned on and off. That are all the main features.
