STK4044XI

The STK4044XI is designed as AF power amplifier (split power supply) with 100W min and THD=0.008%.

STK4044XI has five features. (1) Compact packaging supports slimmer set designs. (2) Series designed from 50 up to 150W and pin compatibility. (3) Simpler heat sink design facilitates thermal design of slim stereo sets. (4) Current mirror circuit, cascade circuit and pure-complimentary circuit application reduce distortion to 0.008%. (5) Supports addition of electronic circuits for thermal shutdown and load-short protection circuit as well as pop noise muting which occurs when the power supply switch is turned on and off. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of STK4044XI have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its maximum supply voltage would be +/-74V. (2) Its thermal resistance would be 1.2°C/W. (3) Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (4) Its operating substrate temperature would be 125°C. (5) Its storage temperature range would be from -30°C to +125°C. (6) Its permissible load short time would be 1s. (7) Its load resistance would be 8. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some operating characteristics of STK4044XI at Ta=25°C, Vcc=+/-51V, RL=8, VG=40dB, Rg=600, 100kHz LPF ON have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its quiescent current would be min 15mA and max 120mA. (2) Its output power would be min 100W. (3) Its total harmonic distortion would be max 0.008%. (4) Its frequency response would be typ from 20Hz to 50KHz. (5) Its input impedance would be typ 55k. (6) Its output noise voltage would be max 1.2mVrms. (7) Its netural voltage would be min -70mV and typ 0mV and max +70mV. That are all the main characteristics. And so on.
