STK4048XI

The STK4048XI is designed as AF power amplifier (split power supply) with 150W min and THD=0.008%.

STK4048XI has two features. (1) The use of a current mirror circuit, cascode circuit, pure complementary circuit provides low distortion (THD=0.008% / 100kHz LPF ON). (2) Possible to design electronic supplementary circuits (pop noise muting at the time of power ON/OFF, load short potector, thermal shutdown). That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of STK4048XI have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its maximum supply voltage would be +/-87V. (2) Its thermal resistance would be 1.2°C/W. (3) Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (4) Its operating substrate temperature would be 125°C. (5) Its storage temperature range would be from -30°C to +125°C. (6) Its recommended supply voltage would be +/-60V. (7) Its load resistance would be 8.

Also some operating characteristics of STK4048XI at Ta=25°C, Vcc=+/-60V, RL=8, VG=40dB, Rg=600, 100kHz LPF ON have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its quiescent current would be min 15mA and max 120mA. (2) Its output power would be min 150W. (3) Its total harmonic distortion would be max 0.008%. (4) Its frequency response would be typ from 20Hz to 50KHz. (5) Its input impedance would be typ 55k. (6) Its output noise voltage would be max 1.2mVrms. (7) Its netural voltage would be min -70mV and typ 0mV and max +70mV. That are all the main characteristics.

It should be noted that for power supply at the time of test, use a constant-voltage power supply unless otherwise specified. The output noise voltage is represented by the peak value on rms scale (VTVM) of average value indicating type. The noise voltage waveform includes no flicker noise. And so on.
