TCD1503D

The TCD1503D is designed as high sensitive and low dark current 5000 elements CCD image sensor for facsimile, imagescanner and OCR.

TCD1503D has five features. (1)Number of image sensing elements is 5000 elements. (2)Image sensing element size is 7um by 7um on 7um centers. (3)Photo sensing region which would be high sensitive and low voltage dark signal pn photodiode. (4)Its clock is 2 phase (5V). (5)Its package is 22 pin CERDIP. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TCD1503D have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its clock pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (2)Its shift pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (3)Its reset pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (4)Its clamp pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (5)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 15V. (6)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 60°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 100°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of TCD1503D are concluded as follow. (1)Its sensitivity would be min 7.2V and typ 9V and max 10.8V. (2)Its photo response non uniformity would be typ 3% and max 10%. (3)its saturation output voltage would be min 1.5V and typ 2.0V. (4)Its saturation exposure would be min 0.14lxs and typ 0.22lxs. (5)Its dark signal voltage would be typ 1.0mV and max 2.5mV. (6)Its dark signal non uniformity would be typ 1.0mV and max 2.5mV. (7)Its DC power dissipation would be typ 350mW and max 400mW.
