TD62084AP

The TD62084AP is designed as a high voltage and high current darlington driver comprised of eight NPN darlington pairs. It features integral clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. Typical applications include relay, hammer, lamp and display (LED) drivers.

It has five features. (1)Package type is DIP 18 pin. (2)High sustaining voltage which would be min 50V. (3)Output current single output would be max 500mA/channel. (4)Output clamp diodes. (5)Input compatible with various types of logic. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its output sustaining voltage would be from -0.5V to 50V. (2)Its output current would be 500mA/ch. (3)Its input voltage would be from -0.5V to 30V. (4)Its input current would be 25mA. (5)Its clamp diode reverse voltage would be 50V. (6)Its clamp diode forward current would be 500mA. (7)Its power dissipation would be 1.47W. (8)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its output leakage current would be max 50uA at 25°C and it would be max 100uA at 85°C. (2)Its collector to emitter saturation voltage would be typ 1.3V and max 1.6V at Iout=350mA, Iin=500uA and would be typ 1.1V and max 1.3V at Iout=200mA, Iin=350uA and would be typ 0.9V and max 1.1V at Iout=100mA, Iin=250uA. (3)Its DC current transfer ratio would be min 1000. (4)Its input current would be typ 1.0mA and max 1.45mA for output on and would be min 50uA and typ 65uA for output off. (5)Its input voltage would be max 5.0V at Iout=125mA and would be max 6.0V at Iout=200mA and would be max 7.0V at Iout=275mA and would be max 8.0V at Iout=350mA. And so on.
